Botech | Lane Flow Control System (LFC)Botech Lane Flow Control SystemPrecision Control for Modern Infrastructure
The Lane Flow Control System (LFC) is a modular, intelligent platform combining advanced detection, adaptive control, and multi-network communication to enhance safety and coordination in complex vehicle corridors.
Designed and Developed in Canada 🇨🇦
Explore the Architecture Overview
LFC is engineered for environments where timing, safety, and coordination matter. It manages directional movement in confined, shared, or high-risk access spaces by automating detection, signaling, and actuation through deterministic logic and redundant communication.
Adaptive Detection
High-resolution sensors deliver real-time presence awareness under all weather and lighting conditions, providing data for precision actuation.
Edge Intelligence
Each control node processes data locally and executes actions independently—ensuring safe operation even during connectivity loss.
Connected Control
Secure fiber, Ethernet, or wireless links create a distributed network of intelligent devices that coordinate flow logic and signaling states.
System Architecture: LFC = ADS + NSG + CCF
LFC is a fully integrated platform built on three core Botech technologies, providing a fault-tolerant stack for complex control systems.
★ Advanced Detection System (ADS)
Intelligent Sensing Layer. Provides high-accuracy, multi-sensor data (LiDAR, Radar) for real-time presence awareness and classification. It processes data locally to ensure a reliable call and avoids false activations.
★ Network Spine Grid (NSG)
Resilient Communication Backbone. Automatically manages hybrid path routing across fiber, Ethernet, and wireless links. NSG ensures guaranteed data delivery and monitors its own health as a "virtual sensor".
★ Central Coordination Fabric (CCF)
Deterministic Logic Engine. Utilizes a proprietary Atomic Decision Core to process system-wide state changes instantly. It synchronizes all distributed edge assets via a low-latency Vector-Stream Protocol.
Atomic Coordination
LFC leverages the CCF's atomic logic to merge the real-time data from ADS sensors with the resilient communication path provided by NSG, guaranteeing that actuation commands are executed deterministically and safely, regardless of external network conditions.
Technology & Architecture
System Composition
LFC includes detection nodes with integrated actuation, a coordination processor (CCF), and a resilient communication backbone (NSG). Once configured, it operates autonomously—aligning sensors, logic, and indicators in real time.
Scalable & Redundant
Its modular design scales from single-lane installations to multi-site networks, with built-in redundancy that ensures continuous operation during maintenance or upgrades.
Applications & Use Cases
Designed for a wide range of industrial and civic settings, the LFC adapts wherever coordination, automation, and reliability are critical.
Industrial Access Points
Optimize truck and heavy-vehicle flow through narrow or shared access corridors at terminals, plants, or logistics facilities.
Bridge & Tunnel Corridors
Enable alternating or directional traffic control using synchronized detection and signaling logic.
Municipal Infrastructure
Integrate with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for automated control and safety enhancements at intersections or gated areas.
Core Advantages
Safety & Predictability
Automated control logic eliminates uncertainty, minimizing conflicts and improving traffic flow reliability.
Autonomous & Configurable
Configurable timing, thresholds, and sequences allow autonomous operation tailored to each site’s unique conditions.
Seamless Integration
Compatible with SCADA, PLC, or cloud dashboards for live monitoring and analytics integration.
Engineering & Lifecycle
Integration & Validation
All systems are bench-tested by Botech engineers in Canada before deployment, ensuring reliability and true plug-and-play performance.
Commissioning & Training
Comprehensive documentation and on-site guidance are provided for configuration, calibration, and operator training. Work is validated by a Professional Engineer of Record (EoR).
Support & Evolution
Backed by a two-year warranty and optional lifecycle services, the LFC platform is built to evolve with infrastructure needs, including firmware and system upgrade pathways.
